Nadia's Promise

Camp Tigray was founded by Nadia Kassa, whose vision was to create a space where community, culture, and connection could thrive. She believed deeply in bringing people together, creating moments where culture could be shared, relationships could be strengthened, and lasting memories could be formed.

Shortly after hosting the first camp, Nadia's life was tragically cut short. What she started, however, left a lasting impact on everyone who experienced it. In her honor, her family established Nadia's Promise to continue the work she began and to ensure that her vision would not end with her.

Today, Camp Tigray carries that vision forward, offering a space for healing, unity, and belonging. It is more than a gathering; it is a continuation of Nadia's purpose. Through shared experiences, cultural connection, and community support, we are building something that lives on and brings people together year after year.
